While reading the chapters while I was in the bush made me realise that I am destined to be a writer, no matter what the story line is. I do believe I am an author waiting to hit the big times !!!

Dear Bev,

Before I started coming for life coaching, I had no REAL purpose in my life. Having not worked for two years I was feeling a bit like a spoke in the spinning bicycle wheel,   because even though I was ALWAYS busy (mostly being a mom and wife) , it was not a very purposeful busy. I was not unhappy with my life, I just felt like I was going around and around in circles, every day seemed more or less the same. I woke up in the morning to sort of just get along with whatever came my way…….. Now I wake up with purpose and a new zest for life (You helped me find my “get up and go” that had left me for a few years!!)

I came to see you because a friend of mine was a client of yours and she gave me a voucher to see you. Seeing her passion come alive made me very curious as to what life coaching is all about. Wow, was I surprised, that first session was the first of many. Bev you have inspired me to grow and grow and keep growing!  That stationary bike is moving forward and I now feel I am ready to ditch the bike and jump on the train because I am feeling so ready for life, ready for challenges and ready for my new goals and my studies towards a new career!

I have you to thank for my movement forward and getting me out of my rut!!  You helped me formulate new ideas and inspired me with your absolute passion in wanting me to succeed and be the best I can be in all areas of my life!!!

You are a fantastic and passionate life coach and a really amazing woman!

At first I was rather skeptical about the life coaching and what it would involve. Once I met with my coach (Bev) and she explained everything in detail and, step by step, I found it easy to adjust and adapt to and incorporate the small changes in my lifestyle. I was taught to take "one step at a time" and by doing this, I found that with each step I took in the coaching process, it became easier and I could see the corner stone being set for me to achieve my goals. You think you have your goals set out in your mind, when in fact you don't have an actual goal, until your life coach points out the obvious - it's so easy to "fool" yourself.

In the modern world, we often mistake movement for progress. We think that we are being dynamic and productive just by keeping busy and on the go. It's so much harder to stop and take note of exactly where you are in life and what's going on in your internal and external worlds.

Having Bev as my Life Coach allowed me the opportunity to step back and take stock of my life. It equipped me with the tools to better understand myself and my core beliefs (both those driving me forward and the ones holding me back). It helped me identify what I really wanted from a number of key areas in my life.

Together, my life coach and I broke down my old beliefs and set up strong new foundations. We embarked on a life project to help me accomplish a number of clearly defined goals.

When we were young, we all read the book Cinderella and wished we could have a Fairy Godmother such as Cinderella did.

Well, Bev has been the fairy godmother I always wanted and needed. She has assisted me in identifying areas in my life which I can improve on and have guided me to achieve my goals.

By the end of last year (2008), I was feeling quite desperate about the way I was living my life. I was depressed but not prepared to take ANY more medication, I had had enough of therapy having tried it for years, I had become reclusive and angry, thoroughly bored with my career and my life even though I had it all. Self-Help books were NOT AN OPTION!

My Mother suggested that I do some Life Coaching. She is a well informed 75 year old with very modern opinions. Strangely on the same day, I received an email from a mailing shot with Bev Morrison’s details on it informing prospective clients of her career path as a Life Coach. I was quite excited because I had known Bev socially a few years ago and had lost touch with her. She had always been a breath of fresh positive air when I had seen her and I could well imagine her with a Life Coach Hat on.

I contacted her and went to see her and it felt like we had never lost touch. She remembered my life story and it did not take her long to pin point the areas in my life that I could positively work on. She obviously has a real natural gift coupled with the personal life experiences behind her that generate empathy and compassion and great insight in us human beings.
I am now in a full time programme with Bev and although it takes considerable commitment to ‘keep at it’, I have already had those closest to me remark on the change in me.

My company has especially benefitted from the ‘New Karen’, and I have my old drive and passion back for my job again. No one can change you after all, only you! Unfortunately some of us need some help with the process!
